Fenland Netball Supports Community Event

Fenland Netball Club added yet another trophy to the cabinet by achieving second place in the annual Grantham Carnival Event . Junior members of the club dressed as characters from Alice in Wonderland to create three scenes: the Queens garden, Caterpillar in the woods and the Mad Hatters Tea Party

The Club entered a float into the community event on the back of a lorry kindly supplied by local company S A Haulage. Senior members of the club walked with the parade handing out Back to Netball and Club leaflets as well as collection buckets for local causes for the carnival organisers
Millie and Amelia entertained the crowds with a comedy routine as Tweedle Dumm and Tweedle Dee. Some of our younger members were dressed as the playing cards for the Queens’ garden (Robyn). Lincolnshire Netball Development Officer and Club Chair Louise was appropriately dressed as the Mad Hatter
