Umpire Development Days

In preparation for the new season Lincolnshire Officiating will be holding some Umpire Development Days over the summer.

As done previously, these will be supported by a team of County, Regional and National mentors, so they are an invaluable source of information and help for those wanting to try it out, refresh their skills or progress along the officiating pathway.
  • Wednesday 4th August - U18s only
  • Sunday 22nd August - Open to all

Lincolnshire Sport & Physical Activity Awards 2019 - NOMINATIONS

There are four days left! The nominations are still open for the Lincolnshire Sport and Physical Activity Award 2019. The event this year will be held on Thursday 7th November.
 
The person/club/ school/ volunteer/ coach may still be doing a fantastic job and this is the perfect opportunity to shout and congratulate them on their success.

FUNDING

Lincolnshire CVS have shared a new funding opportunity from Persimmon Homes specifically targeted at young people under the age of 18. Small pots of up to £1,000 are currently available with the prospect of larger pots being opened in the near future.

Vitality Roses long squad revealed for Netball Quad Series

England Netball has today announced the 26-strong team that has been selected for the upcoming Vitality Netball International Series, as part of the Netball Quad Series.

Head Coach Tracey Neville has named 26 members of the team who could face the world’s best teams; Australia, New Zealand and South Africa, during the Series from 13 – 20 January.
​
All of the chosen athletes will undertake further selection on 7 January and the shorter 12-member squad will be revealed shortly after.
